Map Digital Skills in the Cultural sector - Comparative Analysis

One of the primary objectives of DiCultYouth is to investigate how culture and technology can work together to drive young people’s employability, boost the capability of cultural organisations, and unleash the creative potential of technology. IO1 - Map Digital Skills in the Cultural sector – served as the basis for achieving this goal.

The purpose of the Comparative Analysis is to map the current situation and trend in the field of digital technology in the cultural sector and try to investigate how to build capacity (in informal education) for young people in safeguarding cultural heritage. The report is based on the collection and production of evidence-based data and information from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, Greece, Luxemburg, Serbia.

Five National Reports were created in addition to the Comparative Analysis, reflecting the current situation in all five countries and their results are included in the Comparative Analysis. The Comparative Analysis report ends with a gap analysis and actions that need to be made by cultural organisations with regard to digital skills (digitisation) in order to be more competitive than they are today.
